To protect our customer, ManualEnds developed an "Executable Packer", "MePacker", software protection tool against cracking.
ManualEnds Packer (MePacker, v2.b) compresses executables and modules so that their physical size is considerably smaller than it originally was. At runtime, the module (executable) is decompressed and reconstructed in memory.

False of Anti-virus software "Heuristic Detection" method
Some anti-virus software (such as, old version of McAfee) will pop up a message box or stop to execute it (packed .exe file by MePacker) under "Heuristic Detection" method. The "Heuristic Detection" used to find unknown viruses and threats that have not yet been cataloged with unknow signatures. Heuristics looks at characteristics of a file, such as size or architecture, as well as behaviors of its code to determine the likelihood of an infection.
